Fundraising Ideas

As we say in the Guide, Involving the whole community is a cornerstone of the Task Force philosophy, approach and mission, including reasons why the Task Force helps bring together the whole community. Volunteers can also create fund raisers, or friend raisers as another way to keep the Task Force mission front and center in the minds and hearts of community leaders and members between events. The Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner is just such an example. The menu is simple, and a nominal amount of money may be charged to defray costs and help community members in the future, along with city, county and/or tribal funding. The events are loads of fun, educational, and always add new volunteers to the roster of those who want to contribute their time to humanely solving pet overpopulation.
